1. Data controller
Ecanoval S.A.S., tax ID (RUC) 1793214657001, with registered office at Av. Amazonas N34-451 and Av. Atahualpa, Titán Building, 8th floor, Office 802, Quito - Ecuador, is the controller of the personal data collected through ecanoval.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect first name, last name, national ID or passport number, e-mail address, phone number, Ecuadorian bank account number and browsing information (IP address, device type and pages visited).
3. Purpose of processing
We use your data to verify your identity in accordance with the Ecuadorian Anti-Money-Laundering Act, manage your crowdlending operations, send you communications related to your loans and, with your consent, deliver our informational newsletter.
4. Legal basis
Processing is carried out under the Ecuadorian Personal Data Protection Act (LOPDP), published in the Official Registry Supplement 459 of May 26, 2021, and its enforcement regulations.
5. Retention
We store your data while your account is active and, after closure, for a period of ten (10) years to comply with tax and anti-money-laundering obligations before the SRI and UAFE.
6. Recipients
We share data with Fiduciaria del Pacífico (trust administrator), Banco Pichincha (payment processing), the Superintendence of Companies and the SRI whenever the law requires it.
7. Your rights
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and limitation by writing to privacidad@ecanoval.com. You may also file a complaint with the Ecuadorian Superintendence of Personal Data Protection.
